The first edition of EWAx 2025 was launched to support the entrepreneurship ecosystem across the environment, water, and agriculture sectors, while promoting innovation and sustainability through the participation of enabling entities, entrepreneurs, and startups. Leaders from Jahez, Nana, and Floward highlighted the key role of startups in enhancing food security by improving supply chain efficiency, enhancing product quality, reducing waste, and building an integrated digital ecosystem that connects farmers, suppliers, and consumers within a unified value chain. The first day of the forum featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, a technology exhibition, and three workshops focused on sector opportunities and the future of the entrepreneurship ecosystem emphasizing that opportunities are not discovered, but created. Three dialogue sessions explored the future of entrepreneurship, from the knowledge economy to green innovation and sustainable investment strategies. The second day delivered an intensive program combining main sessions and startup showcases, guiding participants from understanding innovation drivers among entrepreneurs to examining the role of enabling entities in supporting technologies and expanding their impact across the environmental and agricultural sectors. The day included five panel discussions addressing development funds for entrepreneurs, startup growth, the future of food, and deep-tech innovations, concluding with a comprehensive vision for the innovation landscape in the targeted sectors. The forum concluded after two impactful days filled with entrepreneurial achievements, specialized discussions, initiative signings, and startup presentations that reflected the ongoing transformation of these vital sectors. On the sidelines of #EWAx_2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Arzaq and Thimrah to establish and operate an electronic agricultural auction in Unaizah, supporting digital transformation in the agricultural sector.
